Our first post: LUSH HAUL

Hi everyone!
Welcome to our makeup and beauty blog! We're just two girls having some fun and wanting to share our opinions on our favourite beauty products, our dislikes and everything in between :)

This blog will feature lots of makeup and health tips, product reviews, hauls, tutorials and more!

Our first post is a LUSH haul. In case you didn't know, LUSH is a company that makes fresh handmade soaps and cosmetics with natural ingredients from ethnical sources.

Our first purchase is the Little Green Bag.  It comes with 5 products including a tin for the solid shampoo.  The bag includes the jungle conditioner, squeaky clean solid shampoo, sugar scrub sugar scrub, sea vegetable soap and the each peach massage bar.

The three soaps below are the Sea vegetable soap which came in the Little Green Bag and we also received a sample of the Ring of roses soap, and Bohemian soap.

Next up are three hair products, which are all solid--quite unusual for a shampoo/conditioner.  Therefore, they have no packaging so they are better for the environment.

The green solid shampoo bar on the top is the Squeaky Green shampoo bar.
The golden yellow shampoo bar is the Godiva shampoo/conditioner bar which actually has chunks of cocoa butter in it, if you can see in the picture below. Lastly, the Jungle conditioner on the lower right corner of the photo and it oddly smells like a rain forest, but in a good way.

The green hemisphere is a sugar scrub for the body.  The oval massage bar can be used for massages or moisturizing your skin.  The heart shaped Black Stockings works as a tint for your legs and any other part of the body.

The Vanishing Cream moisturizer is customized for oily/acne prone skin and has a light texture.  It contains many fragrant essential oils as well as witch hazel and rose water.

Here's a swatch of the Black Stockings bar on my bare arm. I'm sure it would work as a great bronzer or luminizer for my face as well.
